Amanda dressed as Anna Wintour and has it down pat. She even wears that grimace well! Great detailing on the top of the dress, and that coat make her such a diva. Love the sunglasses too.

Dean Suzanne Thorin

I really don't understand why people don't wear capes. They offer the perfect amount of coverage in these transitioning-weather days. The high collar, the colour, the toggle closures- this look is pure class.

Great Jacket!

Sally, Grad Student

That Jacket kicks so much ass... The hood is awesome and it combines the well-known college concept of comfort with a distinct edginess. Love! She had a great personality and was really awesome to talk to, though she kept suggesting I was running a porn site... I'm not! I swear!

Simple, Casual, Grace...

Courtney

Head to toe is sleek, sexy and seasoned. The subtlties are what make the outfit complete: notice how the black undershirt matches the leggings, bracelet and flats. Khaki is a great color choice for summer in October. And the multiple knotting effect on the belt of her dress is more refined; an appropriate choice for this look, rather than leaving the fabric to hang.

Quad Spot...

Samantha

Proof that flattering does not always mean skin-tight! Love that her glasses make a statement and her natural flowing hair is a perfect attribute! Awesome dress! Great smile, too!

Fall Wraps Up...

Since their making, scarves have served two purposes: to keep us toasty and to top off any ensemble.

...And a third for those like me, a scarf may reveal one’s fairytale within; draped over the shoulders, a full scale shimmy harks back to Gilda Gray, the scandalous Cabaret dancer or before Facebook, drastic measures were taken to cover one’s head with a silk Hermes, adding a pair of oversized shades for serious CIA worthy spy work.

With fall finally here, make a statement with a vintage inspired print scarf, stay warm wrapped in a ribbed cashmere, or add a sophisticated touch with a lambskin collar. The options are endless, so deviate from the norm and have fun with your scarf eye-q.

A Leader in Communication on a tour of Newhouse School of Public Communications

Paula Madison, Newhouse alum and executive vice president of diversity for NBC Universal

I was drawn to her sleek, full jacket covering the voluminous sleeves of the blouse beneath. She looks gorgeous, tying the look together with a raised waistline, heeled sandals and a chic, oversized tote. Tonight, Paula will headline October’s Leaders in Communication Speaker Series.
