Hey everyone,

New pictures will be up soon as my camera has now risen from the dead (Thank you, Tim). However, regarding the previous post, the 'Don'tHate' scarves I have been selling will be featured on the Good Morning Today show tomorrow at 9:30.

Can someone DVR or Tivo it for me? I don't have a TV up here at college.

Very Important...

Hey Everyone,

I wouldn’t be writing to you unless it was very important.

This new years, after 2 years of careful use, my Canon flashed the dreaded “Err99” on its screen, keeled over, and died. It doesn’t even turn on.

While I mourn for dear ‘Othello’, I must also think to the future. The future, being a brand new camera so I can take awesome pictures to post on this site so we can all be happy.

I am not asking for contributions, I’m asking you to buy a ‘Don’tHate’. I’ve gotten tons of compliments and made a bunch for friends and they all love them. They’re half blanket, half scarf, and I assure you, completely awesome.

100% of the profits go to the camera, I am hoping to buy one as soon as possible to keep this website going.

V&A Exhibit...

Everyone should go check out the V&A museum. They had this really awesome fashion exhibit called 'Maginificence of the Tsars'. Unfortunately, like the tube, you are not allowed to take pictures. Not for lack of trying though, I was almost 'escorted' out...

My B!...

Forgot to mention winter break was going on now, thus the lack of pictures. I found a bunch I forgot to post while cleaning out my external hardrive, so expect those. AND... there will be some VERRYYY exciting news post break in early january, so get excited.

More excitingly though, the holidays have come early this year with British Vogue's editorial 'Unbelievable Fashion'. They really chose the best of the collections that they pulled from. The Alexander McQueen Chess collection, Hussein Chalayan, and Gareth Pugh ( a personal favourite) were all present. Unfortunately I could only find a few bad scans, but if you run to Barnes and Noble and look in the December issue of British Vogue, you can drool just as much as I did...

Jake Couri Collaboration...

We recently had the opportunity to collaborate with the Jake Couri brand, an up and coming company that sells awesome t-shirts and hoodies. In this project, we wanted to tie in a prominent theme from our 1st ad campaign. We used personal style to promote the fact that the designs are extremely versatile. They can be worn no matter what your personal style is. The result was an awesome campaign to promote the Jake Couri brand. The Jake Couri company plans to expand and offer more styles and types of apparel, so make sure you keep checking back.

I know I've said this before, but my apologies for the lack of blogging recently. As you can see, I've been doing the whole summer thing...see?

But yea, today begins August, which means we'll all be back at school very soon. Classes begin the 25th, so thats when you can expect very regular postings to commence. The ad campaign is nearly done, and really just needs to go to print. Believe me when I say 'you're excited'.

Summer...

8 Months, 50,000 views, 226 posts, and countless grammatical errors later, The Stitch Society is ready for summer. Summer is a time of relaxation for us college students, but, most importantly- we leave campus. Because of this, posts will be irregular for the coming months, which is not to say they won’t exist but they will be taking on a new look. We have a lot planned for the Society from now until next semester, and you best believe we will be coming back for the fall semester in full force with some new and exciting ideas, as well as bringing you fashion from our campus. Can anyone say- Fall/Winter 08/09 Ad campaign?
